I've also found that sticking the laptop after it's cooled for a bit next to a vent blowing cold air will prevent the lockup after flashing pretty reliably but it'll still loop and ask for another reflash. I have another 5 days for my return period so I'll have to use my backup laptop and contact ASUS on a fix in the morning otherwise this laptop is going back. I've pulled the main SSD and tried to let it flash the 308 bios from a USB drive instead of defaulting to what was on the main SSD and that also didn't work.
